Matthew Weiner, Mad Men creator, worked on The Sopranos. I also notice some other familiar names in the credits.

Matt Weiner is such a genius. I hope he never leaves Mad Men. It wouldn't be as great without him.

I agree. Seeing Matt Weiner's name in the credits, apart from the show’s immediate appeal just through watching it, really made me intrigued by it and want to see more.
